worshipplanning.com + Proclaim, from START-to-FINISH, and BEYOND!

From Start to Finish and Beyond

It is now even easier to create presentations slides for your worship flow details.  After having become acquainted with Proclaim Church Presentation Software some months ago, worshipplanning.com reviewed and shared with our community the significance of this valuable resource. And now we are excited to announce and present worshipplanning.com’s integration with Proclaim!

From Faithlife, the makers of Logos Bible Software, Proclaim launched its presentation software in 2012 with the concept of making worship presentations a team effort that is centralized in the cloud. Proclaim’s user base extends beyond the sanctuary computer, and its collaboration capabilities allow continuous workflow possibilities.

Those of you not familiar with Proclaim will be enthused to hear about this compelling product, and the numerous features it offers making service presentation preparation vastly easier.

With the new opportunity of worshipplanning.com and Proclaim working together, your service will effortlessly flow from START (organizing and planning) to FINISH (production and presentation), and BEYOND with seamless publishing of your service, digital message and sharable media! worshipplanning.com and Proclaim platforms will interact seamlessly by way of a one-time authorization of your worshipplanning.com credentials into Proclaim. worshipplanning.com users will be able to easily import the set list, lyrics, and even song-mapping, allowing Proclaim to turn out the appropriate lyrics to various slides, all while maintaining the theme of your presentation.

For example, let’s say you’ve created a worship flow that looks like this:

Worship Flow in WorshipPlanning.com

With just a couple of clicks in Proclaim, your songs would be imported directly from worshipplanning.com, in the right order, with the right song mapping, and matching the presentation theme you had already defined in Proclaim for this service.  Notice how the songs lyrics are automatically split onto different slides.

  2. O Come all ye Faithful / O Come Let Us Adore Him
  3. Angels We Have Heard on High
  4. Silent Night
  5. O Come O Come Emmanuel
  6. O Holy Night
  7. Hark the Herald Angels Sing
  8. What Child is This
  9. The First Noel
  10. O Little Town of Bethlehem

Belated Christmas Gift? An iPod Touch could be yours.

Christmas PresentWhat’s that under the Christmas tree? There, way in the back, under all the brown needles.  It’s one last gift, looking for a home.  In fact, it’s a new iPod Touch 8GB that we’d like to give away to one lucky person.  But rather than just randomly draw a person’s name out of a virtual hat, we’d like your Christmas music experience play a factor.

Enter the Christmas Songs 2010 Contest.  We’ve analyzed the WorshipPlanning.com data and created a list of the 14 most-performed Christmas songs for this past season.  Your job is to order the list from most-performed to least-performed.  The person with the most matches to the correct order (from our data) wins the iPod Touch!  Oh, and if you tweet about it using our Twitter link, and “Like” the WorshipPlanning.com Facebook page, you can earn a couple of bonus matches to help improve your chances of winning!

Contest ends on January 25th.  Good luck!

Contest: How do YOU prepare to sing?

Vocal Warm-up CDChances are we all do something (perhaps even a little odd) to prepare our voices for singing.  Drink a tall, neat glass of water? Delight in a bag of greasy potato chips?  Well, we are hoping you’ll post a comment with your trick to tuning those pipes before taking the stage.  And in return for sharing your closely guarded secret, we’ll randomly select two people to win an “Essential Vocals Warm-Up CD” from The Musicademy.

Post your comment no later than Monday, September 13th, and we will pick the winners on the 14th.  Posting multiple comments won’t increase your chances of winning, so please just fit all your tricks into a single comment.  And we promise to only use your email address to contact you if you win (we won’t spam you, or sign you up anything, or post your your email anywhere).
